I think some items are already restocked online - I just ordered the Happyland deal, but noticed a post from earlier this afternoon saying they were out of stock - all appeared in stock for me.DFW Nerd no. 884 - Proud to [strike]be dealing with[/strike] have dealt with my debts0

It is worth phoning them if the website says out of stock - I just called to see if a dress I liked was in stock in my local store - it was only available in one (wrong) size on the website, and he said he could get it in both sizes I wanted for home delivery (and with free delivery). He said he can get it from different warehouses and it doesn't always show on the website??!0

Has anyone else ordered the happyland set from Debenhams?? mine has just arrived (rather impressed with delivery) but its a totally different set to the one online. To say Im gutted is an understatement, photo shows house, bakers, two market stalls, doctors surgery and some characters all in very neutral colours. Box has arrived today with a green roofed thatched cottage a gawdy bakers and 1 market stall with characters. Rang customer services they have offered to re-order but I fear I would get same set, can't ring my local store as they say they won't answer the phone today!!!! Any one got any ideas??0

The Grabbit is that the Happyland village set is currently £50 in ELC but using the 10% discount code and free postage code that others kindly listed yesterday you can grabbit for £31.50 (nearly £20 off) just don't expect to get the set thats in the photo as they appear to have forgotton to update it0 -
Would have been better to post this question in the existing Grabbit thread on the subject of the Debenhams sale, I think?“All you need is love. But a little chocolate now and then doesn't hurt.” Charles M Schulz0

Anyone who has shopped in the Debenhams sale usually does not bother again. They substitute half the stuff, take money for stuff that is not in stock, charge the wrong prices - they are abysmal. If they gave it away I'd still not bother as it is such a fight to get back any refund on the mistakes they make. They are simply the worst company I have bought from online.0

The set you received is the same one shown on the ELC website (http://www.elc.co.uk/toy/hl-ready-to-play-village-set/), so I'd like to bet it's the 'right' one - Debenhams have obviously got the wrong photo - they appear to have combined sets for the picture, and used old ranges at that, as ELC do seem to have changed the colouring on the range recently - very misleading, although still a good price if you can live with what you got.DFW Nerd no. 884 - Proud to [strike]be dealing with[/strike] have dealt with my debts0 -
This problem with the photo was pointed out yesterday on HotUKDeals, apparently ELC used to have on their website the pic that Debenhams have on their website and customers were complaining they were not receiving what was pictured - it was minus a doctors surgery and a market stall, not sure if there was anything else.
I'd also placed my order by this point!! Does Debenhams have free returns?Top Cash Back: £882
Boots Card: £160

Yes it is free to return you can either return to store, phone the courier to collect it for you to return to debenhams and I believe on the website it said you could print off a pre-paid form on the internet and take the parcel to the post office - hope this helps. Still debating on whether to keep the set or not as it is still a great buy but still feeling very cheated
Don't know if anything can be done re the fact they're showing a different picture to what is being supplied??
