How can you be a failure?! You're at university. And you've made it to your final year. Sounds far from a failure to me.

You sound like you need some time out with some people who genuinely care about you (which sorry, it doesn't sound like he does).

What have you got planned this weekend? Are there people you can go out with who have NOTHING to do with this guy at all? Personally I wouldn't call him, wouldn't text him, wouldn't call him Mum or any of his friends. Just leave him to himself. And certainly don't sleep with him!

Concentrate on what you need to be doing. Not in a relationship where there is no future.

You have to start putting yourself first. Self respect and determination otherwise, in five years time, you are going to absolutely kicking yourself (and worse!) that you nearly let a complete idiot like this wreck your final year!

I have to agree it sounds like he is still keeping her hanging too even if hes not cheating on you with her.

My ex spent last month picking me up and toying with my emotions even though we only had sex once after we split (if you wanna know more read other posts by me, am sure people will get sick of me posting the tale everywhere).

Please don't let him ruin you getting a degree, that will be something you have for life and to be honest it really sounds like he won't be.
