One of the very many reason I no longer sunscribe to Sky.

So do I, I am convinced that Sky actually tell call centre staff to drag out phone calls in order to increase revenue.

    I wish !!!
Complete opposite actually -we get assessed on AHT and if we don't meet the metric get nagged at !

150 works too for Sky Talk subcribers btw

I'm tech support and have no brief (or incentive) to "up-sell" at all -for example if a customer needs say a wireless adaptor although Sky do sell a reasonable one I have complete freedom to tell a customer it'd be better to pop to a local shop and get it quicker than waiting 3 days for delivery-there is no brief either way to upsell or not (which actually I find a bit odd as most companies in any sector encourage their staff to upsell when they can).

HAS ANYONE got a number for SKY which works ? Not 0844, we know they work and cost you an arm and a leg to call. TRied the latest numbers on here and "Say no to 0870" no luck.

Thank you for posting that 0808 101 4437. I have removed this number from the SAYNOTO0870.COM listings and whilst looking in there I found another number which lead me to 0800 046 6433 which would appear to work. This number is now listed.

The number now listed on SAYNOTO0870.COM was found by dialling either side of another (non-working) unverified number for Sky. If no one else wishes to participate in such a technique and just tries exact numbers offered to them, then we will have to remain content to be without an alternative.

I suspect they make so much from the 0844 call, they have no need to upsell anything. ;)

    Hi Dave,
I was using that 0808 number last night and I got thru just fine, now I try it this morning and it doesnn't work! What a co-incidence!
By the way, that 0800 number gets me thru to the voice-mail of a 'Michelle Crawford' so unless you want this poor lady getting thousands of voicemails then I'd take it down quick!

Leave a message on it asking her to arrange for the Customer services to call you back. :)
