Had a nightmare but over the worst of it now.
We won't finish the year debt free as I had hoped but it will only be a couple of hundred quids worth, easily enough put to bed in the coming minths.
Now about that new car and mortgage deposit...Was in debt £23k- Not now (12/07-12/10):T
Did smoke- Not any more (26-02-11):j

Woohoo... Virgin is clear. £350 just paid and my 5th debt of the year gone. In 2010 I have cleared:
- £384 Post Office CC
- £500 Smile overdraft
- £450 Argos card
- £518 HSBC overdraft
- £3643 Virgin CC
I've got 4 more CC payments to make once December's pay goes in and I'm hoping to start 2011 with (only!) £11451 on my credit cards. If all goes to plan I should be going under 10k in Feb which will be a massive boost.
All of them should be cleared before the 0% deals run out except Barclaycard2 which I'm hoping to transfer back to Virgin on another 0% about March time - fingers crossed they'll offer me a deal.CC Debt at LBM Nov 08 - £25000+ DFD Dec 2012Second DFD May 2021Starting my MFW journey: Opening Balance: £138,000; July 2019: £135107.33; July 2024 £52974.60; July 2025 £11140.232025 MFW #360 -

Would love to try 11k in 2011 because I'll be starting the year with £11400 on the credit cards and I'm hoping to be down to less than 1k this time next year. I will be starting to save for a car/mortgage from Friday! 11K would be good but a bit too far for me next year. I want to enjoy being debt free for a while! If someone starts the new thread I will gladly pop in and provide perpetual encouragement! Was in debt £23k- Not now (12/07-12/10):T
