I really need to diet..well get back into eating healthy. So I can wear all the lovely clothes in my wardrobe and also so I can look hot on my hols (half decent will do actually)

Busy day today, have not been in the house five minutes.

But home now, so going to make Toad in the hole in a moment, I don't actually like it so I will have it Toadless!! and a tiny tiny bit of hole!! Sounds fab (not!)

I need to put a load of washing in, and put some washing away to stay on top of the washing pile and prevent a mountain taing route agan.

No bills paid today, but also have not spent anything either!!

35p scratchcards, and also £8 payable on cashback...but another £100 should be payale next week so going to wait!!

Think my Barcley Card payment goes out this week, then just the sofa and I think that is all my regular payments done this month.:D

I have had to loan Hubby £100 out of the savings...so he will have that deducted from next months money. I feel really mean doing this, as he obviously earn most the money.

But I really need him to understand that a budget is just that. He is really struggling to manage on the money he has to himself a month. I do feel bad as he works really hard.

He is kind of getting the jist of saving and getting the debt paid off...but we most certainly are not on the same page yet!!

I am going to try and live on £50 now until payday...three weeks. I think I can do it as loads and loads of food in. Petrol goes out of a different account.

Then I can pay something else off when the child benifit money comes in.

My DH and I are rarely on the same page when it comes to money matters either. Trouble is - it's ME on the naughty page - not him! :rotfl:

Well done on being so focused :T

I feel slightly resentful because I am not buyng all the lovely things I want to buy....but I know that we need to over pay these flipping cards off as quick as we can.

Trying hard not to get snotty with him, I am also starving!!! Which is really not helping!!

Right , really early start for me tomorrow, so off to do my lunch (not just the kids) and decide what to wear and then get shoes and bag ready...rather than rushing tomorrow at silly o'clock!!

  • Be prepared is the best tactic. Means you can spend longer in bed in the morning.

Certainly is wise to not spend out on nice and frivoulous things now as you'll only regret it. I have done so in the past and ended up feeling rotten a few hours later and more often than not actually returned the items to the shops, so the whole return journey back to the shops to get a refund ends up costing more as you have to go in the car, so thats petrol and parking, that's before you even start browsing at the other bits and bobs that you may be tempted to buy.

    Convinced??

Yep I agree, you have to get everything ready the night before to avoid morning stress. It's a tip I picked up from Flylady and I can't go to bed without doing my "Nighttime Routine".

Great news about the weight loss :T How do you stay off the cookies and cakes?!?!
