Chops Chipping the credit card debt!!

Well just realised that this week is money week!!:j:j:j

DH gets paid...and I errr get my payslip, so I know what I am getting:j

I am not going to rush off and pay all the credit card bills however...as I have realised they are not due till the end of Jan.

So I am keeping the dosh in my bank for as long as possible!! (have big notes of exactly when I need to pay them so I don't forget!!)

I have got £30 overpayment money waiting in my debt bank account..so I will see how much I can add to that.

Well off to get a quick bath and then I am going to paint my nails whilst watching Mr Beckham in HD....will he look even fitter????

Why don't you pay your CC's by direct debit chops? Don't you think it'd be easier I often was late, paying on the day, or forgetting to post the cheque :rolleyes:, so DD's keep me out of trouble!

Two get paid by drect debit, but the other is with our bank so we pay it online, this is the one that is not due till the end of Jan.

The DD's only take the mins tho, so I like to over pay the one that has interest, In a bid to get it paid off sooner.:o I always overpay on line to...so I know its been rec'd and also so I can get to see the balance shrink a little:D

I never really use cheques.I am good at writing them out etc...but then they just seam to live im my bag for a week!!

Just as well as they are being phased out aren't they? I still use them a lot for school stuff and swimming / ballet lessons etc.

Morning all!!

The plan for today is:

· more washing...I swear it is never ending in our house!!
· Dust and hover down stairs
· Take extension out of dining room table (hmm delegate this one to fella!:D)
· Try and get DS2 to sit and do some writing with me (wish me look!)
· Hover upstairs and dust.
· Clean Bathrooms and loos
· Put huge amount of shopping away when it arrives!!

All our snow has gone, and its quite nice!!!

Nothing happening in the bank..which is good!!

Got £6 cash lest to last till tomorrow...and not planning on going anywhere to send it so all good.

Hmm even tho I have cheated as the food shopping is coming before payday, and I have used the CC to avoid going over overdraft.

My shopping came and honestly could not fit another thing in my cupboards....I am thinking I will not need to buy any cleaning, laundry or dishwashing things till at least March.

I probably wont need to buy any tins , pasta, rice or cereal either.

Had to make Hubby have some stuf out the freezer for lunch, just so I could close the lid. So won't be able to batch cook now untill the stuff in the freezer has been eaten!!

Right off to take the kids to swimming lessons, then its dinner, homework and reading and bed.

Its so cold, I really don't want to go out again!!:(

I am so tired, little DS is on his way to bed, so a quick story and then he will be snoring.

Then me and big DS are going to watch dancing on ice ...and I am also going to do a little bit off ironing. I really really can not be bothered but am making myself.

I need to see the bottom of the ironing basket....even if its just for one day!!!

Plan is to be in the bath, then in bed watching TV for 9pm...........zzzzzzzzzzzzz:o

I am almost there on the ironing front..................just have the clothes I washed yesterday to iron now......does it never end??

Nothing much planned for today, other than make Shepherd’s pie for tomorrows tea.

I am up to date on the housework , so when DS2 goes to nursery I am going to do half an hour on treadmill and half an hour on the wii.

20p on scratches this morning, and I am planning on doing two reviews today.
