I got some more ironing done, washing on the maiden, mud wiped off of school shoes.

DS3 is learning to play 'Jingle Bells' on the trumpet and it sounds surprisingly like it is supposed to.

Woody is refusing to put weight on one of his front paws. He stood on a sticky label earlier but surely that can't have done anything. He will tap and play with the paw just not walking easy on it. I'll see how he is tomorrow.

Off to bed now. Sleep tight all, see you tomorrow x

Just order far far too much chocolate from Thorntons, still it's a few more prezzies sorted. Got 6 boxes of 3 for 2 truffles - nice additional prezzies for family, plus some dar bars for me ;) and other bits. Hamper included of course. Now I have to tell FiL it's being delivered there (DH will go mad if he sees it lol) as I've already 2 things to pick up from the sorting office which is only open 7-4 and not on my way to work!

Bed beckons, once i've put the clean clothes away that DH neatly folded. Might be a rebel and set the alarm for 7 instead of 6.40 tomorrow:)

It really really really does get easier!! Believe me, ive been flying for 6 months now and its been a long hard slog, but once you get all the carp shifted its easy peasy!!!!!!

I only handle mail ONCE, open it, read it, shred or file it....2 second job but you need to have your systems in place first. I have at the side of my chair my pocketed organiser and my shredder! If its important I file it, if its rubbish I shred it so no mass pile up of papers.

Same with clothes and floordrobes, keep what you wear and get rid of the stuff you dont use. I used to "save" the older kids clothes for the younger kids but decided not to do this anymore as styles and fashion change so I get rid of it, also the kids have no more than 7 of anything (except socks and underwear) and its so much easier to manage.

Ive also this week managed to start a monthly meal planner, id managed to empty my cupboards and fridge/freezer and today I started from scratch. Ive made a monthly meal plan and bought what i need, will let you know how this plans out!

Kids have been prescribed Tamiflu but im in 2 minds as to whether or not to let them take them, the cons seem to outweigh the pros! plus the idea of them taking a medicine that IMHO hasnt been tested thoroughly enough and let them be human guinnea pigs all for the sake of 24 hours hummm think i might let them ride it out,,,,,oh i dont know grrrrrrrrrrrr:mad: Tried phoning their dad but as usual his phone goes onto answer phone :rolleyes2

Anyway moan over im going to have a glass of wine then go to bed. Not in work tomorrow as boss kindly gave me a week off and told me not to go back until kids are better, but hopefully I will be back in work for Saturday as I need to go back just for the rest! My kids are 17, 13 and 12 OMG they dont half go on with themselves lol its like having manflu three times over haha. Thank goodness my 20 year old DS lives with his grandma and grandad as he goes to Manchester Uni, couldnt be doing with four whinging kids, My 12 year old has started sneezing this evening but think hes going out in sympathy with the others, will keep an eye on him and see how he goes as he is in the vulnerable category as he has asthma but so far he seems ok. Me well I feel like s*** but im curbing it with alcohol lol. Anyway us MUMS have superpowers and carry on regardless

Anyway HUGZ to all I promise I will catch up on the thread sooner or later lol

Oh but I still do have 1 major hotspot that seems to get everything dumped on and thats the kitchen table lol, but least its better than what it used to be and hotspots used to be every room in the house

  • Wednesday done!

Did the list in good time this morning, got some pressies for other-peoples-children this afternoon. I made a good social move this evening, and joined a Samba band :D. I suspect my mind will be banging those rhythms for a while longer ... lets hope I sleep :)
