Thanks macp - yes, it's the same injury. It's getting irritating now. When it swells, it aches. The irony is that I'm going on a first aid course on Friday. I wonder if I can get them to teach me how to bandage it effectively!
Erm... I was told that mine will take 6 weeks to settle down:eek: - and that's assuming that I actually do what I'm supposed to. So make sure you do your rest & ice, try not to stand on it more than you have to, and do some stretches/circles. It sounds as if you're coping with yours about as well as I've put up with mine . I'm working from home tomorrow in the hope that I'll actually get round to resting it, but I suspect I may not.
Governors' meeting done, buttercream made and cake now ready to ice tomorrow. Unfortuately that means the kitchen will be sticky & messy, but I'll try to get it done first thing and then clear the kitchen again.
Think I'd better head off to bed now, as I'm shattered, which is making the vertigo worse...
and I'll have to do some paperwork tomorrow as otherwise I won't be able to get to my desk to work!0 -
sexymouse Massive hugs for you, that school sounds terrible. If I were you going thro that all the time, Id be sorely tempted to get signed off asap with stress.. Especially as the agency are being so supportive....
Well tonight hasn't been very productive, dinner eaten and dishes done, then started making Christmas cards! Now we're watching the football, France V Ireland, we've been rooting for Ireland as theyre the underdogs but doesn't look hopeful0 -
