all 3 levels done for Monday so can I have a star please toots? :j
so glad that I got to level 3 today - when i tested the smoke alarms I was horrified to find that neither of them were working  the batteries had been popped out - probably after I'd burnt some toast or something stupid... have no idea how long they've been like that, and it doesn't bear thinking about. shudder!

so even if i achieve nothing else this week, I have a lot to thank you all for!

    - Hugs for you and DD2. It sounds like DD1 is being very supportive and will make a great Auntie

Greenbee - thanks again, do you want any strawberry plants in exchange?

Those with sick kids I hope they get better real soon.

Invigilated all day so house needs some attention starting with a HH tidy.

Upstairs floors done - they haven't been washed for a while and the water was filthy . Hoover emptied. WM on cleaning cycle with cleaning cloths & mop head. Bath scrubbed, rinsed and sprayed with bath cleaner which is now soaking in. Large pile of laundry now in kitchen .

Bedroom is full of clothes that need sorting :o
Study needs filing & dusting & windows doing
Bedroom needs paintwork/glass doing but otherwise isn't too bad
Bathroom needs paint work, lampshade & window frame doing
    Spare room needs a wipe/dust
Landing needs paintwork wiping and window cleaning
Stairs need wiping and the window needs doing
Loo needs a scrub (as does the floor) and the paintwork needs a wipe
Living room/hall need dusting/wiping and the glass/paintwork wiping
All bookshelves need sorting, emptying, wiping and re-packing
Kitchen needs a deep clean, as it's been S&S'd for weeks now - particularly windows & sills.
Utility is filthy, so also needs a deep clean - but may not get it until after the new shed is built, when lots of the stuff will be moved out (all my bulk cleaning stuff for a start)

But it isn't unmanageable... Guess I'd better get back to it, but it's difficult to decide what to do first  probably the kitchen... I need to clear the surfaces and check that no bits of food have escaped during the chaotic weekend.
Greenbee - thanks again, do you want any strawberry plants in exchange?

That's OK - I'd say yes, but I really don't know what I'll be putting in next year, so probably best not. I'll try to take some photos and get them posted so you can see what I'm up to!

Better get on... it's getting dark

Hi, I meant to search this thread out this morning! Can I join in? Got a 5 month old baby and a 12 week old kitten which makes keeping the house clean impossible. Need some inspiration to help me along the way. Can I join? Please?
  • Well that turned into 1hr 15mins!

DW emptied and filled and on again.
Got my mum to find me a pudsey bandana for my sons fancy dress for children in need on friday, my dad got one! Yay!
