Thanks piggers - yes your right with all you say. I will and DH (step dad) will love and support her in whatever way we can. She just needs to think things through. Yes she'll be a 7 day wonder in our village but won't be the first or the last!
As I said DD2 and I think she is too far gone judging by the look of her and she has morning sickness quite bad too, it all comes out when they finally talk. The thing is she said that I'm always excellent in a crisis it's the little things that p£ss me off!!! SOOOOOOOOO true.
And as I said before thank you ALL so much for your love, support and words of wisdom, you've helped me cope at work today.
Think will go down to sisters tonight (normally go on a tuesday so she'll know something is up), I know she'll help all she can too xx

AAAH TOOts my love, thank you for those words. No you CANNOT call me Granny, not until it's born!!!! Glamourous me - think you need new glasses!!!

carlsberggal - big big hugs honey. Dont forget you are getting used to the idea so it will all seem a bit surreal for a bit. I know it isnt how you imagined it to be but that doesnt mean it cant be great. It sounds like you are an amazing Mum. We are always here for you to offload to.

ETA I also wanted to second what piggers said about the extended family, you mustnt worryabout what they think, even if you dont want to rock the boat/upset them/cause arguments etc etc you ve to be strong and think of your DD firstly and of course yourself. There will always be someone disapproving but sod them. Dont let them grind you down ((((hugs))))

    4. Posting dates for overseas chistmas mail is drawing near.. get it gone in time!!
Royal Mail leaflet arrived with posting dates in it. Interesting to see that they're putting on afternoon and sunday deliveries this year. Could they be responding to commercial pressure at last? I guess it'll either mean lots of overtime or lots of temp work too.

Car now fixed (new lightbulb, 10 minutes, £10, so nice and easy and I can now drive safely in the dark).

Better get the upstairs hoovering and floorwashing done, and then try to make some progress downstairs  before the woodstove bloke turns up.
  • OK well I've read up to page 8, will go back and read later.

So far I have been to M*****n and no bras fit me, since having DS I haven't gone back to previous size so I'm slightly bigger so I fall out of my current bras if I bend over(Dont laugh, its embarassing) so I'm currently either a 36D or 34DD as I have such a small back, but M doesn't do the DD in nice bras, so my plan on buying 4 or five cheapy bras hasn't worked and now I'll only be able to get 1 or 2 more expensive ones that fir properly instead! Wasted journey!

DH dropped off at station had lunch popped to get milk, DS asleep, tidied bedroom and ensuite as plumber coming later, just got to go give the ensuite a quick wipe round. Then go tidy DH mess he made with DS whilst I was out.
Ooh Got to hang DH motorbike gear somewhere to dry as it can't be TD, not sure it will dry outside in this cold!

Then will start on LR! Hopefully DS will stay asleep during all of this!

So I think that counts as a HHC at 3pm if anyone wants to join me?

gawd got to go and get DD2 up for school run. My throat is getting worse again, I'm sure of it, and its frrezing and windy (at least dry though) just now so I am going to drive to school. Kids have swimming at 5 and there is nothing worse than getting home and laving to leave again so I am going to do a few wee errands and then go to Asda cafe for snack before swimming at the pool next door. Main benefit is they only have to get in and out of the car once and not twice, plus of course I get a coffee in the cafe :)

    Brrrrrrr see you later brrrrrrrr
