  • Grateful thanks honey - yes its been a busy week and weekend - but I can relax a bit because the worst is done and the bedroom is cleared - I think you need a big squishy (((hug)))
Only just got around to skimming the thread because I had an unexpected visit from DS last night :D a flying visit from uni to see how I am :j so I'm a happy bunny today :D He has just gone back because he informed me he has to finish an assignment due in tomorrow.......so perhaps I was just a distraction after all :rotfl:
Special love & hugs as usual to Toots hope you didn't empty the bedroom! xx
what a star your DS is - that is lovely and maybe the distraction was what he needed too - if he was worrying about you he wouldnt be concentrating properly. I didnt empty it single handed!

Toots - I'm worried that you're overdoing things. You shouldn't be clearing the bedroom on your own (and the decorator can work round things like the bed - as long as he can move it around the room)
Dont panic I had the cleaner helping me for a couple of hours to finish off what ihadnt managed myself since AnW's Mum left! And the problem Greenbee there is not a lot of room so we took the bed apart -metal frame top and bottom and slatted base so now in 3 moveable pieces. had to leave my good chest of drawers but it can get pushed out into the hall while he is doing the paper stripping with the steamer. apart from that it is empty!!!!

Toots that seems like a very long list to me, I hope you are resting
I know honey - but I need to keep it there in front of me so i can see what needs doing when i sit down and then i can figure out how i am going to achieve it!

just having a breather as i have just emptied the wadrrobe as someone fromfreegle has aid they will take it - thats brilliant except my clothes are now in a pile so the planned sort through will have to get done tonight and tomorrow!!!
off to catch up on stars - I have been neglecting my duties:o

    toots xx
    Peace will be mine
could do better - must try harder

Toots - where will you be sleeping, and where are your clothes going to live?

Washing on and downstairs floors washed. I was going to start the ironing while they dried, but I think I'm going to find and update my list and then put my foot up for a while as it's starting to complain :o

Well I've sorted the washing and with DD decluttered a bag of the Thorntons chocolate coated caramels. I must put the box away now in case I get tempted again. Am currently eating left over fish cakes from thursday for my lunch and chicken is defrosting for tea which is going to be a bit of a throw it in a roasting tin and hope for the best (which will be much to the kids disgust).

Well done on the washing up rosepink - I know how hard it is for you some days

LadyLib - I am sure your DS visit was not a distraction

Fedupandskint - do you want to come and lodge at mine a while and help with my lists as you've done so well

Toots take it easy and dont do too much, cleaner helping or not

Piggers I dont know how you achieve as much as you do either

Right no more surfing I'm going to see if irst lot of washing is done
Mortgage, we're getting there with the end in sight £6587 07/23, otherwise free of the debt thanks to MSE help!

She can do that after both she and wilf have been round to mine :D

Right... must stop wasting time on here and go and put my foot up so I can prepare for the next effort

Oh yes... must make roasted veggies tonight to help use up the potatoes. I can freeze some and use the rest during the week.
