  • Hello LL!! How are you? Bet it was a lovely surprise to see your son!

Well I've done presicely nothing since my last post unless eating a packet of crisps counts?! I've been looking at the "whats your CBA tea/dinner" thread..some people on make more effort on a CBA night than I ever do!
Also had a look on FB but really must get up off my bum now & do a bit more, then I can chill later with the crafty bits I'm working on for X***

    Catch you all later..

Have washed up, reclaimed the worktops and cleaned them, emptied bath ready to clean it and myself later, and hung out wet washing. Finished cushion cover too, hurrah! Am currently looking at a big pile of dirty dishes that DH has accumulated in the LR and wondering how long it will take him to take them into the kitchen and if I'm being mean by not doing it for him.

Lady Liberty, how nice your son came and surprised you like that! I do feel a little brighter thanks, altho still have light box on, it certainly seems to help me. How are you feeling today?
Anybody know where my red notebook with the really important list in it is?
Under the sofa? Next to the bed?

I've got a spot on my nose which is making me go cross eyed! dizzy.gif

Am watching more of last night's Strictly now, yay!

Rose - thanks - it wasn't in either of those places but I have found it in the bottom drawer of my desk - not sure why it was there but I can update 'the' list now.

LL that was lovely of your son and I know it will have lifted your spirits

Grateful - top moneysaving idea, hope you feel better soon

DH taken youngest and oldest to the large golf store to look for Christmas presents.

Gammon cooking. Just going to do 15 minutes on here and then dust the living room

Binliner of clothes disposed of at the clothes bank (after unblocking it, as the person who'd been before me hadn't checked that there bag had gone in properly, so it was all bunged up )

Dry cleaning deposited (how sad is it that I have a loyalty card with the dry cleaner??? I'm relieved that they're moving to more environmentally friendly dry cleaning in the spring, as its one of the things I always feel guilty about)

Supermarket shop done and (mostly) put away.

Cold cauliflower cheese and some rather strange soup I found in the freezer eaten for lunch. I can only assume that my mother brought the soup when she stayed a while ago... it's a vegetable broth. Very nice, but not the leek & potato I was expecting!

Toots - I'm worried that you're overdoing things. You shouldn't be clearing the bedroom on your own (and the decorator can work round things like the bed - as long as he can move it around the room)

Just over an hour done in the garden, leaves and dead flowers in brown bin and it has now started to rain again.

LL glad you had a visit from your son, and he is doing well.

Toots that seems like a very long list to me, I hope you are resting
