PAYG Phones from Carphone Warehouse... help

  • Thats really helpful, as my son wants the LG KS360 for Christmas. We're on vodafone, so I can buy it on the cheapest deal on any network and stick our existing sim in, is that correct?

If I am forced into buying a top up, does that come in voucher form so I can just add that to our sim as well?

all phones have to be brought with credit, our sales system dont allow us to bypass it, and remember to pay with a credit/debit card

Every PAYG phone Ive had from CPW has been unlocked but you will have to pay extra for the sim. Sometimes the credit is already loaded on it but others Ive had to register before the credit is added. Never had a voucher. Looks like Orange and Virgin are cheapest for the LG KS360. You could use the Orange as a spare sim for 2 for one cinema tickets or the spare Virgin sim for cheap internet access.

Guys im looking at a Nokia 6303 on the carphone warehouse site which is a lower price £79.95 on T Mobile and Virgin but a higher £89.95 on Orange, o2 and Vodafone.

If the CPW phones all come unlocked unless u need a new sim and number on the Orange, o2 and Vodafone networks where the phone is more expensive any reason why you wouldnt just buy it for £10 less on T Mobile or Virgin? Indeed any ideas if buying it on T Mobile or Virgin would be a branded phone as im assuming they are all unlocked?

I want to use it with an existing o2 sim and another sim when abroad

The same phone is the same prices on mobiles.co.uk more expensive on Orange, o2 and Vodafone but that site says they all phones are unlocked so wondering about the branding if I use that site and indeed why they charge more for some networks if they are all unbranded and unlocked

    Thanks in advance

For info I ordered the Nokia 6303 from mobiles.co.uk at the cheapest price, with T Mobile sim, and the phone is unlocked....

So if anyone is looking to use another sim with this phone no need to pay £10 more to have it on Orange, o2 or Vodafone just order the cheaper T Mobile version and stick your existing sim in it
