I'm sitting here with my little notebook writing down more tips from you all, AND I've got a deep conditioner on my hair while I do it. I always used to wait a couple of days after I had my hair coloured before i deep conditioned it, not sure why, maybe I read somewhere that it would make the colour fade or something if I did it sooner. Anyway, I'm here with a nice natural day time make up on, and my hair piled on my head soaked in a Boots Essentials condtioning treatment.
I'll update again later today, got lots to talk about!
Thanks again to everyone0 -
glad you are feeling better !! Keep it up... i had a deep conditioner treatment too !! it feels amazing !Mejor morir de pie que vivir toda una vida de rodillas.0

Isklar, this is all wonderful. IMO, sometimes the deep conditioner is for the soul, even though we put in on our heads...same goes for nail varnish, perfume etc etc0 -
I'm hoping to do a pedi today, I've got a gorgeous ruby coloured polish that I've been wearing on my toe nails for years. Well, I did before I let myself go !
It's been discontinued  but I managed to get a bottle on ebay so I'm looking forward to having pretty tootsies again very soon!
Also looking at diet..I've got to lose some weight. I'm not one of those people who can be happy at a higher weight, sadly.
Done quite a bit of walking this week and definitely feeling better for it.0 -
Well done...especially for the walking.
I find that the weight and confidence is a vicious circle. Right now...being at my heaviest, I don't even have the confidence to walk to the end of the road. I'd hate to see anyone and have to engage in conversation.
Trying to motivate myself to lose some weight...but finding it easier to find solace in a bar of galaxy;)Less is more0 -

Well done - I'll join in with you on the pedicure today. I'm going to use the free Nails Inc one from Glamour mag though - it's a nice reddish purple :T0 -
It sounds like you're enjoying walking... How about some kind of pedometer to keep track of how many steps you do each day? I discovered there was one built into my phone (it uses the accelerometer which tells the phone which way up it is for displaying things in portrait or landscape format) that you can set to be the 'wallpaper' and now I really enjoy seeing how many steps I've done each day. As it's built into my phone I don't have to remember a separate pedometer. You can always get a cheap separate one if your phone is no use...0

if you are serious about losing weight, i would recommend weightwatchers. it helped me to completely change my life.

Isklar - I am so pleased for you, just reading through what you have managed to do so far and it sounds great. Keep a list of your new habits and positive changes that you have made and look at it to give yourself a boost.
