But when did the passenger become aware of the injury? That should be supported by medical records dated about the same time.
Or are you saying she didn't know she was injured until 2 weeks after the accident?
Btw, whose legal team approached the driver? At that point it was assumed (by you, the friend driving and the passenger) the other driver was liable, so the passenger would have claimed off the other drivers insurance. If that legal team had written to your friend (the driver), she should have passed such correspondence to her own insurer, rather than answer it herself."Now to trolling as a concept. .... The passnger became of the injuries within a week of the accident and this is apparently suppourted by medical records.
The drivers own insurance company approached the driver and they had been informed by the 3rd parties insurers that the accident was her fault.0 -

Yet the driver (your friend) made a disclosure 2 weeks after the accident (1 week after the injury was known about) stating that no one was injured.
Edit: ... bearing in mind this accident only happened a couple of weeks ago, that means your friend has only just signed the declaration. I suggest she gets onto her insurer and starts explaining things unless she can convince the passenger to drop the bogus claim herself. Even if she can, I would still suggest she keeps the insurer up to date with events."Now to trolling as a concept. .... Would the injury claim come from her own insurers if they cannot prove liability?0

If you think about it, the way most people drive into and out of most petrol stations, its pretty unlikely for someone to reverse into the BACK of someone else isn't it? This will surely count in your favour OP.0

The injury claim won't be met at all unless it is proven."Now to trolling as a concept. .... Personally, I've always found it a little sad that people choose to spend such a large proportion of their lives in this way but they do, and we have to deal with it." - MSE Forum Manager 6th July 20100

The third party was going into the spot in front of us and reversed too far back hitting the front end of the stationary vehicle.
What would happen if the passenger withdraw a claim at this stage? Would there likely to be charges to them?0 -
Why would they withdraw?
That would suggest the claim is bogus.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0 -

It was orginally thought it was clearly the 3rd partys fault and the compo would come from them however now the they are disputing liability and I don't think the injured passenger really want's the claim to be paid by her friends insurance.0 -
But there are three witnesses (in your vehicle) that you were stationary and the other guy reversed into you.Fight Crime : Shoot Back.
It's the mark of an educated mind to be able to entertain a thought without being seduced by it.
