I doubt you would be able to prove it as we will be too scared to give our order codes incase they demand our money. S/w customer service again, having asked them why my friend was able to use all 4 codes
and not me, they asked if i had my friends (we are all friends of MSE:rotfl:) order code to see if it actually did work at any time. but i obviously don't know any of your order numbers etc so how can i prove to them that it did work but my order somehow changed?!!!

have people received a receipt/invoice in their package? i want to keep some items and swap some instore- obv don't need receipt to swap but may want to take one item back completely i think
also on two of my items (coats), i was charged £80 full price before discounts and they were on the website at that price... but they both have tags at £100 ??0 -

i had receipt/invoice with mine.
If you want to take an item back without receipt they will only exchange or give vouchers for the full price!0 -

I know it is a pain when these things happen but i don't think it was a good idea to ring customer services as it was obviously a glitch and if they decide to look closely could affect other orders:eek:
you would prob be best to take items you don't want back to store and get vouchers,you will still gain as they will give you full price back or if you want your money back return or take to store with your reciept.0 -

yes they should have sent a receipt/invoice, i would def contact them in that case,as you should have had a returns label with it as well?0 -

I can proove as my order confirmation said price to pay was with 4 discount codes, then delivery invoice had higher price, so i called them to ask why it had changed, without notification, which was a fair question.:j0 -

I think it may be worth speaking to trading standards. If your confermation email said you would pay X amount then that is what you agreed to when you filled in the credit card details. If they didn't want you to use all the codes then they should have cancelled your order NOT taken more money. I may be wrong but I think it is illigal for them to take more than you agreed to.0
