Santander zero card - no fee?

Hi all
I got the mailshot about this account for the first time a few months ago, sent it back and heard nothing.......plus when trying to contact them to find out where your application was upto there was no phone number and endless calls to santander general customer services......they then wrote to me about 2 months later to say that they had received the app but i had missed something off (not so - I have a copy!!)......basically a total nightmare!!
I then received this again just over 2 weeks ago offering the same zero card with a 0% fee for A&L customers - this time it had a number to call for enquiries - so i sent it again......within days of sending the app back again I was told the application had been processed and the card was on the way - I asked for my credit limit and they said £4600
I got the card yesterday, activated today and called up to balance transfer - I asked my credit limit again as the letter attached to the card said "Credit Limit - 1st" - they again said £4600 - i asked how much of that I could do BTs against, they said 95% - so today I transferred £4370 across 3 cards - the final one my Tesco Credit card just to load it for christmas spending this month knowing its a real 0% cost........all with no fee
I am very happy!!:j0 -
I don't know if this will help anyone but they let me BT more than 95%, I only have £10 left on my available balance.
(I am being VERY careful as I think they might be trying to catch me out!!!) Kavanne

I am a bit perturbed by the amount of security questions they ask when I call up:
Card number
Name
DOB
Address
Expiry Date
Recent transaction
3 digit CVV on back
...
Would they like my blood type as well!?!?Kavanne

I can fully understand all the security questions as my card has been stopped because "someone else has been enjoying my money" Not my Zero card but another debit card.I am a bit perturbed by the amount of security questions they ask when I call up:
Card number

Got my Zero earlier this week to use on holiday so hopefully everything will be OK.0 -
The Santander Zero credit card is good on paper but customer service is slow and not particularly competent. It took about 6 weeks to hear from them after applying, despite it saying it should only take 5 days when I applied.

Got accepted in the end but now experiencing more problems with their internet banking and call centers.(see the thread "problems with new santander online credit card service" for my rant about that)0
