Just got an offer letter through the post....is it worth applying for?
Says guaranteed acceptance....although I've heard different on these forums?....
What limits are people getting?

No fee for usage abroad and no cash advance fee, but they still charge a 3% fee for balance transfers.
No credit card is ever guaranteed acceptance.0 -
worth applying no, even if you get accepted they probably wont get round to sending you the card, they are terrible, customer service is hopeless, last year they told me on 4 or 5 occasions that the card was in the post and in the end I was told they hadnt had my application form back and had cancelled. When I said how was I told that the card was in the post the guy said are you sure you were told the card was in the post, hopeless dont go any where near them, post office card does most of the things they do except the balance transfer fee.0

They do not charge the 3% BT fee if you are an Alliance and Leicester customer, at least not according to the literature I got today. This makes it a very good deal if you want to transfer an existing balance and get a sufficient limit!0

yeh thats what i was thinking gav...got the exact same offer....but doesn't seem I will get very far according to these posts!0

No fee - but you are charged interest if withdrawing from ATM in UK or abroad. 3% balance transfer fee - best to go into a branch - open the account there and then and be given details if agreed and credit limit. There are only two things a child will share willingly - communicable diseases and their mother's real age0

0% BT fee according to the letter i got today. Offer not available in branch, only through the letter.
interested in this card for the 12 month 0% on balance transfers, but it says on credit/store cards. Can i use the BT for a current account to pay off an overdraft?
If I phoned up would they likely to be able to tell me what sort of credit limit they would give me? I already have an A&L account.0 -
