    No benefits i can think of at all unless your wife has care or mobility needs in which case she could apply for DLA which is not means tested. Only other advice i can offer is to post a statement of affairs (SOA) and check out the money saving tips on the debt free wannabe board.

    The responses to this request are terrible. You are judging the OP when you know nothing about them and they requested advice. My advice is to put your details into www.entitledto.co.uk and see what results you get when your C Tax and rent are put in.
