Jeny, some people are too quick to jump to the wrong conclusions. It happens, sorry that you were the victim of their conclusions this time.
For those who didn't know it, council and housing association properties are available to rent to those with "low" incomes, not only to those on benefits. It's entirely possible to save while on a low income. The idea is to be affordable housing, not benefits-only housing. That's particularly important for those with unpredictable low incomes, who still can benefit from not having to find a new place to live every time they get a new job for a few months.0 -
