You are ceasing the service at your property, a MAC is irrelevant. What you need to ask AOL is to cancel your service, not ask for a MAC. A MAC is purely for migrating to a different ISP on the same number.
Asking for and receiving a MAC does not cease your service.No free lunch, and no free laptop
