We don't know what Ms X looks like so can't compare her to the description and can't do a dock id cause she's not there.

A DI will not pay for an ID parade for a minor injury collision.

I know you will not like this but it's how the justice system is.

How do you figure that out, If the OP could state, and it would be under oath that he/she recognised the driver? then ok

But can he?she??

The OP could ID the alleged driver at court, however how will he do that if she's not there to ID?

Not what I said tho', Can she identify her with certainty? Don't recall her saying if she could, remember the sate she said she in

Well, I did whack my head, but she did come right up to my window and shouted in my face for a good couple of minutes. I'm quite good at recalling faces, but not so good at recalling names. I think that if I saw her again, I would be able to recognise her. If I was given the opportunity to identify her, and was unsure about whether it was her or not, I would be honest and just say that I was uncertain. I also have an independent witness who may also be able to identify her, but I haven't spoken to him since the crash. I assume the police have been in contact with him though, otherwise it's doubtful that they would be pursuing this surely?

Anyway, this is all probably just a waste of time because in all likelyhood, I'll never be asked to identify her, and she will probably not even turn up to court.

Then you have an issue if you stand up in court. I'm sorry, I am not trying to decry you but if you can't stand up and say that woman did it, an appearance in court is futile.

This is really a sad accident with you.I think this time you have to go for a injury or attorney lawyer for you who will help you to solve this problem easily.
