It's not a crime no, but as Premier said an offence for with the RK if found guilty will probable get 6 points and a fine of about £550 (means tested of course).Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. Well, hopefully she already has some points and will end up losing her license. I'm not really after compensation, but I really want to properly inconvenience her in some way, like she did to me.0

More importantly though, have you made a claim through the Motor Insurers Bureau for your injury and losses?? You are entitled to do so.
If you do not have legal cover on your car insurance, check your home insurance, if you still don't have any legal cover, then phone a few specialist personal injury firms direct (don't use one of these management companies that advertise on TV) and see if they will take the case. Check the legal 500 website for recommended PI firms in your area.0 -
In my experience people like that continue to drive.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0

BTW the MIB can recover the money they pay you from the keeper of the vehicle in some circumstances so making a claim could well put her to considerable expense. They are funded by the public so they always try to recover their outlay if they can, even if it is £1 a month!0

Thanks Kat, I have been thinking of doing this, but wanted to see what the outcome with the police would be. For a long time I was worried that the registration had been taken down incorrectly which is why it was taking so long. I don't have the same car insurance anymore, and at the time I was only 3rd party (am now fully comp). Not sure about home insurance, but will possibly contact a no win no fee. Is there a time limit? This did happen 6 months ago.0 -
If you do not have comprehensive insurance for your vehicleWe may be able to assist you. Please complete the claim form.
Thats worrying for the OP from their website.

Thanks, it doesn't worry me though. It would only worry me if they couldn't help me after taking money from me. I'll have to look into it. I am now fully comp, in case anyone was wondering!0 -
There is a time limit, to recover the cost of your vehicle it is 9 months so get a lawyer now, do not delay. Call your home insurance and ask if you have legal cover. If you are a union member you may have cover through your union or with certain bank accounts (normally the ones you pay a fee for). If not don't worry, post your geographic area and I'll suggest a couple of possible firms. But you need to act quickly.
Chippy - what do you mean????0
