Absolutely disgusted, those poor puppies :(

If you think that was bad, those pups were living in sheer luxury compared to the poor wee souls born on puppy farms!

  • I thought it painted quite a rosy picture actually - it would be interesting if they did a follow up in a years time to see how many of the pups have ended up in the pounds, or worse. The majority of the staffie b1tches over about 18 months old in our local pound appear to have had pups.

Still feel sorry for the poor little pups, no matter where they are from

Why oh why can we not have any kind of media coverage with the thousands of stafford owners who look after their dogs in exactly the way they should be. There are so many caring, responsible people that have Staffords and they never get a mention in the media. Yet another programe thats puts all Stafford owners in a bad light. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Not a bad person? How do you know?

I have never met anyone as those in this programme.

Some people FC, breed for the occasional pup for reasons other than profit. Hard to get your head round it isn't it. You think Pedigree = Money, loads of it.

You have so many working class chips, at least your shoulders are balanced.

There is no need for personal attacks Mutter - I just said it as I saw it - she struck me as ignorant, rather than bad.. you may of course, see it differently, and that is fine - but she clearly said she was hoping to make loads of money from it - that was her stated intention - I am talking specifically about the woman who was the breeder of the pups on the programme we are discussing here - and these were apparently cross breeds not pedigrees anyway.

And, excuse me - but why do you assume I am working class Mutter? You can PM me if you like, so this thread does not get derailed!

And.. back on track - I missed the very beginning of this programme - did it say what cross they were, specifically?

Because you come across through your posts as such.

Not many from (location deleted) have class or money.

What an enlightened, intelligent attitude you have! :p As I said, do you want to discuss this via PM so we do not take this thread off topic?

I agree with FC on this one -although it looked as if she cared about her dog, she clearly said she bred the pups because she wanted to pay for a new floor, without any idea what it would entail.
And although she wanted to place the pups well and get the money if she could, by the end of it she was desperate to get rid to whoever would take them because it was costing her so much to keep them.
Struck me as ignorance rather than malice. Same with the bloke who kept the pup in the one room.

And no, it didn't say what they were crossed with - couldn't work it out through looks either. I was hoping for a longer follow up as well.
All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.

Everyone has their own take on things. We all see things in different ways. Why do people have to make personal attacks on others views. Why cant you just take each veiw as it comes, add your own but please lets stop this nastieness. Its hurtful and uncalled for. A good debate yes, everything else should be left unsaid even iof you think it. Sorry folks but it spoils a good thread.

The cane corso who was described as vicious? I heard them say he had been imported, but I was not clear who the dad was, although I may have missed it...
