Log maker out of newspaper etc - any good?

B&Q are selling these for £20. Apparently you soak roughly shredded paper in water then fit it into mold and shut it. It compresses the briquette, squeezing out the water and you are left with this. Dry it out and then burn it.

Seen them advertised in the Sunday papers but now can buy from B&Q.

Has anybody any experience? Would you recommend?
