  • Hi spike,

I work for a subcontractor for sky and they seem to be replacing chordiant. Havn't sussed what the new programme's called but the changeover's caused havoc so far...

Just thought you might like to know...

    I didn't really understand it.

It says it will show active/inactive people that have had sky at that address.

So if my name is not on the list I will be classed as a new customer?

It means that if you and your mum share the same surname then they will quickly spot you are likely to be part of a household who was a customer.

what about if you move to a new house - that would mean you were a new household wouldn't it?

What Pokerlad said is correct,If you said you were moving out, then Sky may ask for a letter of proof, which becomes a legal document.

When you sign up,Chordiant,Sky's SMS will bring up a list of subscribers at the address you give,be them active or inactive.
from that list they can see who & when the last person is that had Sky & when they cancelled.
What detail of address is matched? i.e Would this automatically bar you as a new customer if you have same surname as a neighbor in the same postcode?
