We were thinking about buying some of this M&S Cava for welcome drinks at my brothers wedding. I looked at the bottle and it said enjoy within 6 months - the wedding is 7 months away and obviously dont know how long the bottles have been on the shelf. Do you think it will still be drinkable?

Don't know if anyone knows this but if you add bottles of Whiskey to be included in the 6 bottles, it takes 25% off that too. Not sure what exactly the combo has to be but if you ask instore some of the sales assistants are very open about this. Don't think they wanted to advertise to widely but my Aunt bought 4 bottles of Cava and 2 bottles of Whiskey yesterday and it took the 25% off the whiskey!

Promotion finishes tomorrow and the SA said they have been told its the last promotion before Xmas. I got 6 bottles last night for our xmas dinner and was sent today by family members to get them some too! they had loads left in my local and they also had left cases of it out to make it easier for people!!

hi CM66.I have kept cava for much longer than 6 months and it tasted perfectly fine.

Has anyone got a bottle of cava to hand am trying to find out if its suitable for vegans? I know they are replacing the suitable for vegetarians with suitable for vegans if it is vegan - will make my life easier in buying wine but not all labels altered.

Think Il buy 6 of the mulled wine as that one does have vegan on the bottle Im told.
