  • Thanks to OP for spotting this fab offer.

We went yesterday and bought 2 lots of 6, and also got the half price chocolates. Thats saved us a fair bit on a few xmas gifts.

We "tested" a bottle last night and can say it's very nice.
    pinkpinkfizz

    I :heartpuls MSE
  • Just what am I going to do with 12 bottles of this stuff? Drink a couple, maybe another couple for emergency xmas presents... might have to throw a party to use the rest which will cost me more than the saving lol!

One friend has just become a grandma....so I will be giving her a couple of bottles to wet the babys head.
Friend of DD turning 21 - so a couple of bottles there.
Church and school are having Christmas fayres, ..... so a couple of bottle each to those for their "bottle stall"
I plan to take a bottle with me as a present when/if I drop in on family and friends over the festive season.

Also plan to have some on the day itself.....make bucks fizz out of it etc... list is endless.

Plus, because I now have a house full of M&S booze, I may just have a party.
What better excuse can there be;)
Since I've already got the cheap booze, I cannot see it costing much more.
"Friends" normally turn up with something to contribute, I will just have to suggest they bring a bag of nibbles.

I did buy some M&S nibbles a couple of weeks back which were on bogof.
But kids have already eaten them

Note to self to look out for a cheap safe where I can store things safe from the human size scavengers:p
  • THANKYOU TO THE POSTER OF THIS THREAD. In total I have bought 18 bottles of medium dry cava. Went into our local M&S today but the cava had all gone. We then looked for the pinot grigio and that had gone too. But as we were looking the pg was about to be restocked so we had 12 bottles of that instead.

Then as luck would have it I was checking out the champagne at the fron of the store and spotted a box of 6 cava - result.

    Thanks OP.

I bought 4 bottles of cava rose and 8 bottles of cava which should have been £91.00 - I paid £41.00 and lovely it is too
Mortgage, we're getting there with the end in sight £6587 07/23, otherwise free of the debt thanks to MSE help!
