sorry Im being a bit thick here and I probably havnt read through all the threads properly but I thought I had read that the absence of a credit limit didn't make it unenforcable ?? I thought that to say they will decide credit limit from time to time was deemed as enforcable (you must be sick of answering these questions !!!!!!!!!!!!!) - it's all very confusing to a beginner !! and I'm getting bog eyed from trying to read it all and take it all in -
Have just started studying for the next part of my degree aswell so I am really overloaded with info about all sorts of things at the moment - sorry
Thanks again
The credit limit on its own is not usually enough - however the prescribed terms are not intact PLUS there is the omission of credit limit
Usually i'd say go for it and send the dispute letter if the limit was missing but right now it's more a case of knowing what they'll say so really you need a couple of things missing/incorrect before relying on lack of limit.2010 - year of the troll

Hiya - see this: #1554
Update on this: Read this important note regarding your Credit Limit - only relevant to a s,78 (Running Account) Agreement.2010 - year of the troll

Hiya
You're crossing threads and mixing users! My reply that you're quoting is for someone else (hackenbush) - but your original question was in this thread here: #1457
You need to stick to the thread you;re in! I have never seen your egg agreement, you were saying they were 2 accounts (last I remember) and I told you to send 2 x query letters.
It is for the lender to prove to you it is unenforceable, not for you to do to them!
Now, are you moving your posts here or staying over here #1457?
Am I confused? Yep! :rotfl:2010 - year of the troll

Egg Agreements - Flawed?
Did you know that Egg are the only company to have flawed agreements. You need to go back and check your CCA and where it should say 'Credit Limit' it may well say 'Approved Limit' in which case it is unenforceable for using wrong language on a regulated document, basically if your Egg agreement uses the term 'Approved' as opposed to 'Credit' then the agreement is unenforceable as the prescribed term 'Credit Limit', is missing
This only applies to Egg paper agreements (i.e. not online ones).
NiD watches the mass influx of people with Egg accounts rushing to re-check their agreement :rotfl:2010 - year of the troll

thnks.
This is unenforceable as a result of Egg's wording of 'Approved Limit' (about your Egg Card - 3.)Egg Agreements - Flawed?
Can I just point out, to your good self and anyone else reading this thread that Egg are the only company to have flawed agreements. sorry for the confusion but my post on here was prompted by hackenbush posting the egg agreement and on seeing it was the same as mine I commented on it, and asked a question about it, on here, I havnt posted my egg agreement because it is exactly the same as the one posted above.
The other question i asked on 1457 was also prompted by a post on there that had relevance to my question regarding the two accounts - so as not to confuse things further (and believe me that doesnt take much for me!) which one is it better that I stick to ????????0 -

LOL, see above and you'll see why it is unenforceable now. Does yours have the same mistake? If so, send the query letter from MY thread as directed to hackenbush lol.2010 - year of the troll

Thank You
Yes, mine has the same mistake so I will send the query letter you suggest . Should I still send the other letters you suggested (in the other thread) to chase a CCA for each account aswell ( i will stick to this thread now promise:o)

Yes send them as well, if that is what I originally suggested! You can trust me you know, I wouldn;t suggest doing something if it was materially wrong - i'm not a DCA lol :rotfl::rotfl:2010 - year of the troll
