same here. Ive bought a telescope and have asked people to give money for such things as piano and swimming lessons. I will get a few stocking bits and that will be that. She's not bothered to be honest so I am NOT going to be put under pressure to get stuff that she doesn't use!
I agree, although I wish OH's family saw it that way too, we'd asked for money for her birthday towards a season ticket for Paultons Park, they bought her a carpy dog thing, that was just awful and has never been played with :mad:Tigz...as someone who loves books, you can never have too many books...

OH has heard from his insurance finally today about his bike (accident not his fault in March) and basically he is going to get nothing by the time he has paid storage charges. I sometimes wonder why we bother with insurance. So he is out of pocket by £1800 :mad:
