Ahem - snap! Its a real problem finding stuff in that size now :o

I buy asda cheap sports bras (£4 genius) but I love expensive underwear - its about the feel of real good quality silk on your skin - honestly even if you look rubbish that day it makes you walk sexy - its like sexy shoes for other women (which I cant wear often as they mess with my running) :D

Been there, done that, prefer the comfy oversized t-shirt and the dressing gown :D...........oh and the fluffy slipper socks :D

It was a woman who said it.

    I kid you not...

It's times like that, that you want to be able to turn round and say...."I do have make-up on, I just prefer the subtle effect rather than the "plastered on with a trowel look" you seem to favour". :D

  • What I almost said was

'Please can you clarify EXACTLY how my NOT wearing makeup affects my work performance? And while you are at it, explain HOW the clients on the phone know that I am without makeup...you silly stupid belittle, demeaning, poor excuse of a 'manager'??!?!?!'

but I didnt. I waffled on about having to get 2 kids out of the house in the morning like some kind of subserviant coward...

the operations manager told me off for not wearing make up the other day.

!!!!!!, I dont SEE the direct public, I speak to them on the flippin PHONE! they dont know if I am wearing mascara or not.

Surely that is just a !!!!!y comment, pure and simple.

It has no bearing on your work - I would put in a complaint to her manager, because it is bullying.

Pooky - have to say I think you and your husband are an inspiration. Each day must be such a struggle and yet you don't moan, you do your best by him and get on with it. And him too, he must be in agony daily and yet he just keeps going - fantastic
