Are you sure that's not the usual discounted rate for the 1st 3 months only?No free lunch, and no free laptop

I've been offered a price of £7.33 per month for signing up to new 12 month contract. Plus I can have new router to replace my old BT voyager 210.
Is £7.33 the best they'll give or has anyone had a lower offer?
Thats the lowest price they offer for broadband option 1 on a new 12 month contract renewal.
They can also cut your line rental charges (if you have line rental with BT) so ask for the £2.00 line rental discount and also the extra £1.00 of the free evening and weekend plan or £1.00 off the anytime plan (depends which one your on if any)0 -
Then that's a good deal. Even beats O2 Standard with mobile discount, which would be £7.34 (though a much better provider). No free lunch, and no free laptop

Am on the Anytime plan for phone calls.
£2 discount - would it be because I'd renewed the BB for 12 months? Or some other reason why they'd give it?
They will only give it if you ask for it and make it clear that you are prepared to take your business elsewhere if they dont!No free lunch, and no free laptop

Bring to their attention their current 3 months free offer for new customers, and just threaten to leave...0

The discount is given as one off credit of £24.00 on your bill and the extra £1.00 off anytime plan making it £3.95 a month is a recurring monthly credit if you agree to renew your anytime call plan for 12 months.
You dont have to say your leaving to get it just ask for it.0 -
The 'best price ' you will get is not from CS, it's from retentions-you will need to ask for your MAC first. Saying 'I'm thinking of leaving' to CS does not do the job.No free lunch, and no free laptop

I'm on £5 per month for an 18 month contract for BT Broadband Option 1."There are not enough superlatives in the English language to describe a 'Princess Coronation' locomotive in full cry. We shall never see their like again". O S Nock0

Thanks macman and poppasmurf_bewdley
poppasmurf, when did you start your contract?
Last December, when I moved home."There are not enough superlatives in the English language to describe a 'Princess Coronation' locomotive in full cry. We shall never see their like again". O S Nock0 -
I was immediately offered £8 per month for Option 1 with unlimited evening and weekend calls on a 12 month contract, the other day.0
