Lyrics tend to read badly. They are meant to be sung. Now, if the man in question happened to appear in the garden, with a guitar, and serenade me with such a song, I'd be really, really touched. It's the action that counts, not someone else's words.
If I received these words in a text, I'd be totally unimpressed. It's ambiguous. To my mind, it's a cheap 'cut and paste' job.
I'd text back : 'Are you implying that I'm a super tramp?' :rotfl: 'Explain yourself now.'0 -
