OP are you thinking of sending this to someone, or have they sent it to you? I'd be seriously creeped out myself, but perhaps I'm just unromantic! I'd rather be told I'm loved in my OH's own words rather than Bryan Adams' (DH has just sniggeringly crooned "the only thing that looks good on me...is you"), so I think you should use a bit more imagination when wooing your intended

if the truth be known, it was 3 emails sent as a last ditched attempt for the person to show some love in some way or other so that they would know there was some there.
I guess the old romantics died in the last ice age!To Love Is To Be In Love. Play with Fire Expect To Get Burnt. A Relationship Is A Two Way Thing!
Love is not something you make up and it has away of making you push your own boundaries, love always comes out on top.

I'd hate it, fake that I liked it to OHs face, then forget about it for a few weeks. Then in a fun appropriate moment, would let him know I'd prefer a short sweet note from him rather than a pile of lyrics flung together.
Back in our dating days, he wrote out Shakespeares Shall I compare thee...beautiful drawing on it that took ages, really lovely writing. Still have that somewhere in a file-Shakespeare has a bit more romance to him than Bryan Adams IMHO.Who made hogs and dogs and frogs?

I would prefer something written in a loved ones own words TBH. To me the heartfelt sentiment is missing, anyone can cut & paste lyrics.Accept your past without regret, handle your present with confidence and face your future without fear0

It all depends on how much you love that person and what you think the other person would like, as most of you had pointed out that it was lyrics to songs but no one noticed that they had been change a little to fit the bill.
i was curious, here we all are on this site and when we see people with problems and troubles, we help them in any way we know. Yet when some one doesn't have troubles then the help is not so forward coming. Just because someone wants out of a relationship isnt that much different to some one asking for help in getting some one yet its treated differently.
It did say "thank you for your kind replies."To Love Is To Be In Love. Play with Fire Expect To Get Burnt. A Relationship Is A Two Way Thing!

Speaking as a woman, all we really want is honesty, and a heartfelt 'I love you'. Nothing more, nothing less. Just an 'I love you' from the heart. You lied to me Edward. There IS a Swansea. And other places.....

Bryan Adams??
It's Supertramp!!
I don't think the lyrics are slushy or remotely romantic, but it is sweet!Tank fly boss walk jam nitty gritty...0 -
I don't like those words at all, and certainly don't find them romantic in the 'wooing' sense, if that's their intention.
It's all 'YOU show me some love and (then) I'll show you some in return'. So I feel it's appropriate after a huge argument in which the recipient of the above words was deemed to be in the wrong.
And knowing they're from a song, I'd find some better ones, or write my own. 'Found' by The Beloved has much better lyrics.
