The Cairndow branch (i.e. the one on Loch Fyne) isn't part of this deal. It's a separate company and not part of Loch Fyne Restaraunts. JWe went last week and asked the waitress how told us this. Food was still tasty though.
Just thought I'd add this for anyone thinking of using the offer here.

Sounds a bit narrow minded to me - how much would 2 glasses of house wine cost them?

Weird, used to live near the original Loch Fyne restaurant, the Loch is well know for its seafood but had no idea there was a franchise of restaurants all over England.

Apparently the restaurant chain is no longer connected with the original restaurant on Loch Fyne.

How odd?!! We have one here in Brighton on Western Road in town. It's been there around three / four years but it isn't showing on the website under 'Restaurant Locations'. I just wanted to have a browse at the menu beforehand as I am not very daring with trying a lot of seafood. Nevermind.......
    Everyone LOVES a freebie!!
  • Is the set menu posted anywhere or does it vary from restaurant to restaurant? I would go to the Covent Garden one.

Would it be possible to go and say, me have a fish dish and the boyf a meat one?

Hey, I have got Adobe installed (and just did it again to check!) but the offer is still coming up blank... bit confused - is this just me???

Thanks for the great tip though!!!
For those having problems with the link on the LF website try right clicking the link then choose save target as and save the PDF on your PC, once on your PC double click the file and as long as you have adobe it will open fine.

We thought that might be the case but it wasn't.

Thinking about it, if you were to order a main and dessert, the restaurant won't be able to flog you anything else after that (except perhaps a coffee) but if they give you a starter and a main, you might just be tempted to order a seperate dessert afterwards and they make an extra sale.
Some friends of mine have been several times andd order one starter which they share and then one dessert to share so they get three courses for a tenner............

And give it a nudge in the right direction occasionally :o
