Ah well, depression ... I would encourage you to talk to someone about that - your Health Visitor, GP, trusted friend! Easy to battle on all on your own, but I find that if I've flagged it up to someone, I don't sink too far too fast ...Signature removed for peace of mind0

Thanks savvy sue-feeling a lot better today but am going to mention my feelings of anxiety to the HV when I see her next. Feel quite up and down at the moment-today is a good day but have days like yesterday when I am in tears. Strangely enough i felt exactly the same at this point (dd is 10 months old) with DS as I do now. Can you have pnd this late on? Took DS to our local church Autumn sale and he was a delight to be with! He was being so sweet-think he really struggles with feelings of jealousy about his sister who is also lovely and getting a lot of attention from people because she is crawling and cruising and generally being a smiley baby.HSBC Visa-High interest-£2349.23 Nat West £2605.18

You have two children both under 5 yrs. It is totally normal to forget things. I couldn't remember which year my kids were in at school when they were teenagers! All that yr 5, 7 etc .. etc
I thought by year 11 the pupils must have been at least 22.
You are a wonderful Mum doing a wonderful job.. your children will grow up and with all the best care in the world from you while they are young, they will still eventually become their own people.
As they grow up they will blame you for everything that goes wrong, they will tell you that NO WAY will they end up in a boring life, doing a boring job, they will NEVER EVER end up just doing a job to earn a living...and never ever will they stop their children from enjoying life just because they are too young to go to all night parties, drink under age or don,t help around the house.
They will also come running to you when things don't work out as expected, cry on your shoulder and want you to put it right..
Just be there for them , do what you are doing now, your best and forget perfect parenting..
there's no such thing..except in books written by people who probably employed nannies from day one.;)
