:D:D:D:D:D well ive been to see him and in my opinion he looks so much better than the sorry state he was in last week! he was sleeping in the litter tray  and I wasnt able to get him out of the pen but did give him some fuss and he was purring like mad! he didnt get up but sometimes he can be a bit of a lazy monkey and he is still weak from it all so ive come away feelin much more positive about it! His eye sight has very slightly improved and if we can get him eating an his pupils reacting to light then he will be coming back home
down to you now pete so get a move on!!
Thankyou all so much for words, advice, tips etc im very grateful
As for food hes not a very big eater at the best of times an tends to go for biscuits - probably so he hasnt got to get in the sqaubble his 2 sisters are havin over the meat! ive spoken to the nurse about his normal preferences and shes said they sometimes find biscuits easier at first anyway as they can just lick an swallow rather than chomp on jelly so i think they will try him with that in mind.
my other little man has gone in today for neutering, to say the place feels quiet and empty would be an understatement - im expecting some tumbleweed to go past any minute!
thank you all once again and of course will keep updating on how hes doing xx0 -
Thing is, the tumbleweed you will see consists of bundles of raggedy fluff and dust. It is in my place, anyway - you would think that I don't sweep and vaccuum every day.I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.Yup you are officially Rock n Roll

hes still got a long way to go and isn't out of the woods yet but he can do it and he is bein given that chance now and that's all i wanted

Fantastic news!!!!!! :T
He's certainly a fighter, especially after what he's already been through already!!! I once had a cat like him, managed to survive until 17yrs despite being on his last "cat life" for a number of years :rotfl:
Look forward to reading your updates :A“You can please some of the people some of the time, all of the people some of the time, some of the people all of the time, but you can never please all of the people all of the time.”0 -
Fantastic!
Getting the ball rolling can be the very hardest part. Besides anything else its probaby just darn uncomfortable to eat.
He sounds like a real character.
