Thinking about giving this one a go... http://familyfun.go.com/christmas/christmas-gifts-cards-decorations/christmas-decorations/christmas-wreaths/red-nosed-wreath-deer-710135/
I've spotted this and really would like to have a go at it, I'm wondering how hard it would be to make the pine cone wreath. Any one have any ideas how to do it?Trying to make a better life.... If you need me you'll find me at the allotment.0 -
Try paper balls... if you still have cards from last year then you can keep them but put them to use iykwim! Or use some strong christmas paper.

I made this snowman decoration from a beermat. My DH got me some beermats for me to make some Calendar Coasters and they only had this type in the pub he went to:
So, after making a calendar, I thought the shape lended itself to being a sparkly snowman!:

Made this decoration the other day from two buttons - the idea came from familyfun.com. It looked so easy but was a devil to do! The instructions said 'glue the two buttons (on their EDGES) together using a hot glue gun' - I did, and they kept coming apart! Grrr! In the end I stuck the two buttons onto a lollipop stick at the back.

We went to Chatsworth at the weekend to see the house decorated for Christmas. Some of the trees were decorated with whole dried lemons -has anyone any idea how to make these? I thought that they would be a fairly cheap ornament and they smell nice too.
You pretty much slice them up, put them on grease proof paper and wack them in the oven.0 -
I made this cardboard ginger bread house. We just made templates for the house glued the card board pieces togher with a hot glue gun. The we decorated it with real sweets and some other little bits. Wins in 09 = A vodka cocktail kit thing lol, £150 Amazon voucher.0
