  • Many thanks to those who've sent me good wishes and hugs; boy do I need them at the moment :D

Actually I'm not feeling as bad today, I'm still shattered but I am planning on getting dressed, which is a BIG achievement! My lovely mum plated me up a Sunday dinner yesterday so I've got that to look forward to for my lunch.

Tea tonight will be sausages, chips and beans; I really fancy it and it'll be the only thing that fills the gap I reckon.

...... They are trying to get it sorted before OH takes it to court on the 4th Jan - but in reality if they wanted it done, they could just remove me from it and it would go through. They need to get a wriggle on, I'm out of the country for two weeks out of the next six and will be in another part of the UK for at least two more of those off and on......

Celyn, I take it they know you are going to be away from home? It all sounds very trying. Sorry for your loss x

    Afternoon All

Late post for me today - had to make fish pie for tonights dinner this morning so I didn't get time for my leisurely 'mooch' around the forums with my first coffee of the day!

DH sill under the weather with this sore chest/cough thingy - i started with something similar yesterday but feel ok-ish today. I have had a really sore hip for several weeks and after suffering for a while I went to the docs and he said it was a ligament strain and gave me some tablets. Its been doing ok and only twinging when i'd forgotton to take my tablets but in Asda yesterday I slipped on what looked like yoghurt - I didn't fall or anything but the slip of my foot was enough to jar my hip and I am making some VERY funny 'snapping' noises when walking upstairs! Back to the painkillers!

Hope everone has a good day

Celyn, I am sorry to hear about our uncle xxx

Turned into a beautiful day here, very cold but bright, got three loads on the line, lets hope it dries a bit

Hoovered upstairs and down, cleaned bathroom, made beds, tidied, mopped floors, prepped the veg for tonight, going to have a sit down now, and a game of scrabble :D

Bitsy ( i dont quite believe im going to say this on a public forum ) do you shove all the kids in the bath together ?? my mum used to do this with us, and being the youngest I always got the tap end  anyway (i was very young) one day I remember thinking that if i did a poo, the other two would jump out and i could have a bath to myself, so i did :o:o:o, and lo and behold the other two jumped out screaming, and I quick as a flash lay down and stretched out, ( with poo still floating :rotfl:), my smugness did not last very long, I got a smack on the behind and early to bed, I remember being outraged at the injustice of it all :rotfl::rotfl::o:o:o My mum always said I was the most trouble of all her three :D

You shall henceforth be known as Redpooby. :p

Sunflower I am so sorry you have to go through this. I hope it will ease and the results will be worth all this suffering. xxxxxx

Thinking of Tris, Diva. x He was lucky to get an emergency kidney transplant. The donor service in the US must be much better than here where people seem to be on dialysis for years.icon9.gif

Busy here as usual. I've cleared up after the weekend (downstairs anyway) and have been catching up on the accounts, chasing late payers and doing the VAT return.

Took the dog out earlier and left the back door open and returned to find the kitchen covered in chicken poo _pale_ so I guess the hens were exploring while I was out.

It's bitterly cold here. The cars were iced up this morning and I can see snow on the mountains from my window so I'll light the fire early for the girls coming home.

Tea will be in 2 sittings as it's Brownies tonight so the girls are having rissotto and OH and I will have brie and bacon paninis. Will bake a banan cake later as there are some yucky ones in the fruit bowl and I must, must, must do some mending tonight.

Bitsy If it's any consolation my lot went through a similar faze. Well DS3 did and I think it was in a similar attempt to 'clear the bath' like Redruby did! We once went to the swimming baths, about 4 years ago, and a child had done one in the water so they cleared the pool hugelaugh.gif Cue lots of HSsingshower.gif in the changing rooms from everyone!
