LL - Orange network okay here.

Just cleared a load of rubbish out of my car as DH complained that he couldn't get in it until I had! My rear windscreen wiper isn't working so he's seeing if he can sort it out.

Those of you with the black dogs hanging around, follow serena's advice - put the lights on, light a fire if you have one, put some music on and get moving!

Gardening finished for today - my dad's taken 4 bags of rubbish to the tip, so fingers crossed that the weather will be better tomorrow, as we need to dig shingle, grit & compost into the bed at the front, and move all the irises, poppies, paeonies, aquilegias, geums, roses, hydrangeas, honeysuckle etc from the back to the front for the winter.

Off to have a shower... my brother & SIL are coming over tonight and we're going out to supper, and hopefully my brother will be back again tomorrow to help with the digging!

Catching up gradually and suddenly thought about Sexy. I would advise you NOT to resign, if you do then there is no action you can take against them plus you then have to explain to prospective employers why you resigned. If you go for constructive dismissal then they have to defend their actions at a tribunal. I know it is not an easy situation but with help from friends, family, your GP and union it can get resolved in your favour.

dusty - will your OH actually notice you've done something without being stood in front of it and told??? Mine wouldn't!!

Don't be daft, I shall lead him gently by the hand into the garage and say 'look I have finished sorting out here haven't I done a lovely job' and shall block the door back into the house until he praises me :rotfl: this is not a joke, it is what will happen :D

Just reordering the stuff I brought at M&S on line with a 12.5% discount and free delivery  then they will get it all back next week when I go into town, I'll try it on the kids first so I know what to order;)

Mum has booked the panto on the kids free deal - excellent - 3 adults with 3 free kids :money:

Had an afternoon sleep!!! didn;t feel that tired at all, just closed my eyes and it was 3.30pm when I woke up.

Some thing it 'banging' about in the wind, but with my c**p hearing I cannot tell where it is coming from, except it is anoying and OH is at work, my other ears 'the cat' can hear it as well as he keeps looking up, but he cannot tell me where it is, and I'm not going out to look for it.

Just found a packet of fruit pastilles in the kitchen, so opened it and had 4...

I have been a total and utter slob today.

DD has quit dancing (well she has changed schools) so no longer needs to go into town on a saturday morning so I didn't either.

I do feel slightly guilty BUT the one she has been going to is losing students hand over fist and they are so low in numbers there was no show this year...and nothing being done, it would seem to attract new dancers. She is going to go to the new one wednesday nights for 3 hours which will cost less than the two 1 hour classes she was attending -

then I pegged out washing then it started to rain so I brought it in and I have just vegged in front of the TV
VERY unlike me - I usually don't even use my LR in the day and I watched The Taking of Pelham 123 on true movies

anyway have shifted by bahookie now (I like that word too) and I have ironed the washing (first lot was dry enough) and put the other in the TD

DS has dropped more washing into the basket this morning - too late AGAIN so there will be a huge fuss when he needs his PE shirt.
    His pattern is
take off clothes-drop on floor- listen to reminder to put in wash basket- wait a day - put in wash basket
now if he could manage the final step immediately following the first one a lot of people (well me and him) are going to be much happier.
    But until then...

so oine day this week there will be a mum why haven't you washed my PE shirt followed by the reply of Saturday morning is TOO LATE to put anything in the wsh if you want to wear it sometime the next week.
Anyway I shall now go and do stuff.

Plus if they are tied together I can then beat them both with sticks!!
