Braved the weather - got 4 bottles of Cava at great prices and 2 'proper' champers - both £5 off already and then another 25% off so nearing half price. One will be for christmas lunch and one for New Year. I had a £5 voucher and 3 x points so quite a good deal.

Posted ebay parcel - post office was empty
Picked up a selection of thermals for the kids to try on - no deals but they sell out so quick and my kids get such wear out of them.

Greenbee - I'd love some please, I'll pm you in a bit

Hoovering of the living room next as I rushed out between showers then time for a cuppa.

Just flitting in and out...atrocious weatehr here too. I did a few things this am. DD gone to London to art exhibition with friend. DS1 fine, DS2 not well, watching Cheaper by the Dozen 2 atm.

dusty - will your OH actually notice you've done something without being stood in front of it and told??? Mine wouldn't!!

Hugs to kaz, hope you start feeling better soon.

greenbee - I'd be there like a shot, but I'm really a fair weather gardener...;):D

sunnyzo - I think you've done exactly the right thing. Now plan for a happy future. Hugs.

Off into town to get euros for Tuesday. I think I ought to try getting a pair of boots as well, as the centre is set in large grounds, and in this weather, it's going to be very muddy. I don't own anything remotely suitable, except for proper gardening boots. Then I need to spend the rest of the day planning for next week. Sigh.

Ooh, I got an email from Eurotunnel with an offer of a return trip for £15 so I've booked for 15th December - Christmas markets, here we come - or even just a lovely lunch and stocking up on wine!! I've also had a very long chat with my sister, and we're going to have a family get together sometime in December as well.

    • Finish off kitchen list
    • [STRIKE] Make a list for tomorrow's tasks[/STRIKE]
    • Make one Christmas card today
Just spent ages sorting out the spare roomwhich is my hotspot. I tidy it, chuck stuff out then it gets in a state again.
    • Have chucked more cardboard boxes into the recycling bin
    • Put wine on top of the wardrobes for Christmas
    • Tidied Christmas decs into 2 boxes neatly instead of a bag and in wardrobe.
    • Pulled some wallpaper off the outside wall and it came off easier than opening an envelope. When the wardrobes are removed I'll take the rest off. Plaster not too bad but some cracks running down the wall and I still need to see if there is a damp problem in the corner I can't get to atm
    • Taken out my new duvet to try out and see if it is ok and then mine will become the spare room duvet after decorating next year and the bedding will do for this room too as I have a ton
Ordered an aerobed which arrived this week to sleep on at my mums at Christmas and might see how this works too and then pack it away.

Better take Mr Dog out for a walk soon as it is bucketing it down here(looks like it has moved up north now)but no wind gusting here.
