Ann Summers Party Went Wrong

  • so what happens regarding peoples orders?
the rep will have the receipts of orders plus payment, the hostess should have been given details of how much her friends spent so she can collect money in etc but not specific details of anything but her own order because of confidentiality.

Alias, I remember a thread like this over on the vent board, probably over a year ago. I'll have a hunt, it may be useful...

My memory is better than I thought...it was 2006!!

Question is now, did your wife order anything?

I used to do The Body Shop parties, The Ann Summers consultant should be responsible for her own stock!
If she gets arsey I would contact Ann Summers directly, DO NOT just take the consultant's word for it.
I would never have drunk alcohol at a party that I was doing, it's totally unprofessional! I know that Ann Summers parties are in their very nature rather raucous but a good consultant should be able to join in without having to resort to getting pi55ed herself.

Thanks for the link pullip, that thread is about someone placing an order.

My wife has placed an order with the discount, now with a view to cancel if things get hot. Ive informed her not to pay with cash, but via cheque or card payment. I have a feeling the host pay claim some of the £41 back towards the cost of the potential lost items, and not actually provide a receipt, nor any goods.

Yeah, my point was more if your wife had placed the order that the party organiser may withhold her goods as in that thread. Looby never did get her £20

    Good luck!

Seriously tell your wife not to worry.

The host can make an allegation of theft but I doubt the police would do anything other than record it.

If she has seen the state of some of the guests and not bothered to check her stock before leaving she's a bit of a dildo herself.

Ask the rep for her name and tell her you are going to check with the Inland Revenue to see if she is paying the correct amount of tax.

Were not into that Mr Banker, we will just see how things roll, but the only way to get the cash out of me will be through the small claims court...and even that she would lose.
