Pap,
What are your out goings?
Perhaps we can have a look at your SOA for you?Empty pockets never held anyone back, only empty heads and empty hearts can do that -Peale0 -
PAP, that sucks. How many hours do you do at the moment? Could you get a 2nd job rather than leave as a temporary measure?
Sometimes you just hit a wall with plodding and need a little re-direction before plodding again, don't be disheartened.
Hi Gem, I do 20hrs and I get £6.62 an hour. However I then pay union and pension so get £500 a month. I don't pay tax and I pay very little national insurance. I havea cleaning job to enquire about but the prob is I am on flexi contract so I have to be avalible 9-5 every daymany morning cleaning jobs end at 9am which means I can't apply to them. If all else fails I will try and get a till job in Asda at night.
Yes still plodding. I will get there it just means a lot of hard workYou saying we are not 'normal'?:rotfl:
Only jesting hun.
Seroiusly the sooner you get away from that bunch of total incmpenents the better.i would have got the sack by now as I would have said something.
Positive positive thoughts your way on a job where the people appreciate you.Would you consider where your mum is or would that be too much.
Gaaah on your behalf.:mad::mad:
:rotfl: Beanie, you know what I meanI have tryed there before and was offered the fish counter but at the time where I worked was fine and still the 'old' way. So I declined it
Opps...

Hi Bun, It's different every month and it depends how many Wednesdays fall in the month with regards to CD. However this is the basic ~
£120.00 ~ Rent (should be £170 but reduced while on CD)
£16.00 ~ House ins (3 bed house, renews June?)
£12.50 ~ Line rental (Bt line for my internet, no one uses it for calls though)
£44.00 ~ Bus ticket (20 journeys, a month is £65 but I grab lifts/walk)
£10.00 ~ T.V (virgin package tagged onto lil bros)
£21.00 ~ Internet savings (my iternet is £61 every 3 months)
£160/£200 ~ Cambridge (ie 4/5 wednesdays~ £40 a week)
= £383.50/£423.50
However then I need to service my debt ~ £90 - 0% till June 31st & £237.80 -%. I also try to spend £3.50 on a magazine if I can factor it in somewhere.
They arn't too bad but obviously on a small wage CD is huge0 -
Pap~ Im sure you could apply again.

Sorry to hear of the holiday mess up. I hope you find a better job.

Awww don't you worry about me - everyones problems and issues are personal to them and that doesn't make yours any less relevant....
Do you feel ready to come of the CD yet? Don't let it be something you feel pushed into and regret for years. Could you maybe try for a 0% card to pop your debt onto for now and pay what you can afford?
As I said on the DC, your outlook on life has changed over the past year and your confidence as grown hugely, I really do think it's time you moved on to a new job where you'll be known as the "pap" you are now and not the "pap" you were before.

Hello Pap
These are really unusual terms and conditions of employment - expecting you to be available for 40 hours a week to only work 20. You refer to being in a trade union - can you seek their advice? Otherwise post this issue over on the jobs and employment board and ask for advice there.
Is this a roster with different shifts?
Best wishes
Spirit0 -
Beanie, I shall do you are right. I hope they are recruiting
*jellie*, Thanks :A I owe you a pm... its coming
Pooky, Thanks I understand, I just think that I shoul be grateful for what I have somedaysI don't feel ready to come off CD yet. Ideally I want to get to 100lb lost. However if other influences mean I have to (ie finances) then thats that. My debt is at 0% and less than 3% so its not killing me it just means its hanging there for a long time.
:A Thanks I have changed, I am different to what I was. Maybe in this job i will be forever known as my old self. As you say I need to move on. I need a new challenge/a new life.... I love dodgy hugs :rotfl:
Spirit, yes it is strange. I work 4 hours a day one week ( 5 days), then 5 hours a day the other week (4 days). It is a rota system but generally I get a morning shift (9-1) or and afternoon shift (1-5). Sadly its my contract now so it can't be changed. The problem comes when I need a second job as its hard to get one to fit around that unless its a night job0 -
Ok if it is rostered shifts it is a bit clearer. What sort industry is it? What other shift patterns do they have that you could do if they were available.0

Its in retail so quite a simple industry really that I can easily change jobs within. There are many different shift patterns in different areas of the store. However there are no other jobs in those areas. Also everyone on my department works the same sort of shifts0 -
Just sending you a great big squishy hug...I'll make a wish, take a chance, make a change And breakaway. I'll take a risk, take a chance, make a change and breakaway ....
Finally Debt Free...0
