I guess at least out of that money I did spend, I learnt the joys of eating porridge!
Now here is the question, if you know you need to buy something (a blue ball of yarn for a scarf that I am making, which I ran out of the blue yesterday), would you wait till next week (to keep this week's total spend) or buy it this week (to increase the chance of getting a no spend week)?
Do you have a budget for said wool? If not I would be tempted to find one or think about one for the future if this is something you do often. Else I would buy it today as I don't count Saturdays but then if you are very good and do a week long budget then this is not an option.
Honestly the above makes it sound like I cheat a lot but I am just creative with my budgetingWeekly Spend Challenge: £0/£30

Thank you pointypenguin
the said ball of yarn is a pound (don't tell the person I am making the scarf for!), so I do have the money.
I did try to be OS and added a different shade of blue to the scarf, so that half would be light blue and the other half a darker blue, but it didn't quite look as I had imaged in my mind... but at least I tried the OS way first
I do have a week long budget, but I don't count groceries (that comes out of the food budget) or anything I already budgeted and saved up for (such as holiday).0 -
Had £1.66 left yesterday but put it in my sealed pot now, so no money until Monday for me.Became Mrs Scotland 16.01.16

I am so glad I haven't included today in my budgeting, I spent £60 on over the knee boots and new leggings in Evans- but they are lovely, looking forward to wearing them to see my family tomorrow, hope everyone is having a good weekend.Debt free 11/05/11!

I failed pretty badly getting to £89.30 this week! Meal, hair, charity donation
However I received today my CC statement and I am seeing such a difference that it is a fantastic feeling(strange, must be weird)
Next week very different, will be away for most so won't get a chance to update a lot. I see that limit is going to be £40 excluding petrol for travelling (in away budget).
Have a great weekMFW on your mark0 -
Hi guys, my spend this week is £20 but I'm going out on Saturday so really have to try hard not to spend anything this week except for groceys (separate budget!).Became Mrs Scotland 16.01.16

Forgot to add £1.05 spent at the Penny Bazaar on Friday.
Will add up my [strike]sins[/strike] spending later on and aim for a decent budget to see me through until payday!0 -
Hi everyone
Well this week I allocated £25.00 and have decided to no longer add my cigarettes to this challenge, but to count that as part of my budget as it's too depressing and I just feel defeated before I've even tried so I'll still add it this week, but not anymore from today's challenge.
I spent £ 3.78 over this week, so not to bad, but am hoping for better next week. Thanx everyone for keeping me motivated and inspired.
Cheers

I am a bit upset, discovered last night that I've lost my change purse at work yesterday. Am hoping I'll still find it when I go back to work tomorrow as it's my favourite purse and had £ 3.42 in it? I remember seeing my bag lying on the desk and seeing my purse lying at the top of my bag and thinking I need to put my bag away, but then forgot as I got busy. Am hoping that when I packed my bag to leave work I might have put it in my locker by accident, but not likely
