Sunflower - so sorry it has been so bad. Sending you a big hug and lots of good wishes. xxxI must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.

Hi Guys,
Sorry to have been away today. Ive had a bad day and no OS to speak of. I even went to MR T and bought a sponge cake as my son is making a "proper trifle" with "proper custard" for his food technology GCSE but I could not make sponge cakes today as feeling really off. Still Im sure it will be ok. His teacher made custard with custard powder and used shop brought puff pastry the other day!!! DS2 must be picking up my OS ways cos he noticed it and commented on it to me. (not that Im adverse to using shop brought stuff but I do think they should learn the basics for GCSE).
Very sad today with Remembrance Sunday. I couldn't face it but my thoughts were with Nic Webster Smith's family and all those who have lost. There was a special service at our local memorial cross which the rugby contingent including my DS1 attended.
Im hoping that I get back a little of my get up and go...or wobble in my case. I really need to get thinking about my DS2 birthday and christmas. I have saved the money but dont have the motivation or energy to spend it:eek:. This is how i know Im seriously down in the dumps.
Hope Sunday continues to be restful. Thanks as always for all your supportive comments. Its very much appreciated.

Evening everyone
Not been on nearly 2 weeks. Was away for a week, then when I got back got a skin infection from 2 mosquito bites, just finished the antibiotics today, leg nearly back to normal!
Watched the remberance service last night with my ds2, it was very moving and watched the parade today.
Cooked a gammon joint in sc today for dinner(thanks to the os board for the instuctions on how to cook it). It turned out really well and theres only a small amount left! Also made some hm lentil soup for my lunches this week.
Managed to get rid of a large amount of paperwork that had been waiting to be sorted so not got as much clutter around.
Sunflower - Sending hugs, hope you soon feel better
