That's my concern too, as my cat doesn't have a predominantly wet diet.

I wonder if it is possible to freeze some once opened?

Slightly off topic but hopefully a complementary suggestion, since Bozita are more meaty than fishy .... just opened my first large (400g) tin of Feline Fayre - at 60p (Asda) even cheaper than the pouches! :T Absolutely packed with tuna, they claim 70% but there was no jelly in sight. According to the website they produce three other fish varieties in the large tins, tho they seem to be a devil to get hold of.

All is still going well here, they were having 1/3 of a carton between them at each meal but 2 days ago we had to up it to 1/2 a carton per meal.

They are loving it, have eaten all the flavours so far and no upset tummies

I'm still umming and ahhhing about getting some. I too need to place an order soon for RC so need to make my mind up lol

How long do you reckon the cartons will stay fresh once opened? I could always start giving them some wet food every other day, or even every morning if necessary and I'm sure they'd love me even more than they already do if I did :rotfl:

We feed our cat this for her breakfast each day, and Orijen biscuits in the evening. She gets 1/3 of a carton each meal, and it keeps fine in the fridge for 2 days - don't know about longer. She is a bit of a fatty catty though.

I wouldn't recommend the reindeer - we tried it last year at Christmas (we are all adults and it amused us) and it really didn't appeal to us or the cat. We were happy to see the last carton of it go!

Thanks for that. That's the problem you see as my two cats will only share a 1/4 of a carton at each sitting so even feeding it to them every day would still take 4 days to finish a single carton. Hmmm back to the drawing board lol

Well it says on the carton 2 days in the fridge but it might be ok for longer, when we were using food in pouches and changing brands there was normally an open pouch in the fridge for 4 days and they seemed fine so who knows!

They are little tetrapacks, look like sort of foil type plastic stuff on the inside, the lid folds back down fine, we keep the open packs in a sealed sandwich bag in the fridge.
You can get this in tins as well but i don't know how long they'd keep in the fridge.

Thanks, I've ordered some Applaws now from VetUK as noticed earlier they're actually cheaper than Zooplus!

I prefer not to keep cat food in the fridge as they like to eat at room temperature and don't want to risk any upset tummies.

I have read that cats like their food at room temperature and they don't like to eat it cold from the fridge but i didn't realise it could cause upset tummies!

Our 2 don't seem to care if their food is cold but maybe they might as they get older!

If you are near a Seapets store, they sell it in single cartons but i don't think they have many shops.

I was just looking at vet uk after your other thread and they are cheaper than what we paid for dry applaws but would need to buy the biggest bag to make it worthwhile.
