I said i would post about this and it's now been nearly 2 weeks so thought i'd better get on with it
:rotfl:
Bozita Tetrapack Cartons 93% meat 360/380g 90p
They come in a variety of flavours, got them all except for reindeer!
Herring pate, Plaice pate, Crayfish chunks, Rabbbit chunks, Chicken chunks, Chicken liver chunks, Haddock chunks, Perch chunks, Turkey chunks are the flavours i got. They all contain things like lungs and gullet _pale_ but great for the cats
They haven't had all the flavours yet but everything has been wolfed down so far sometimes accompanied by purring
Our 2 kittens are 14 weeks old and 1 carton does both of them for 3 meals, they have this twice a day and Applaws kitten dry twice a day.
We've had problems trying to find high meat content foods that don't make their poo smell really foul and stink the whole house out
I have a feeling they might be sensitive to grains because since being on this combination of (grain free) foods their poo has no smell

"I am an insomniac, so I was really excited when I was able to get a full night's sleep. I said to a friend, 'Just keep your fingers crossed that I get lucky again tonight!' Realizing what I said, I tried to correct it and said, 'No, I mean, I just hope that I get some tonight!' After that, I decided to shut up."

Glad to hear Bozita has gone down well and having the desired effect! :T The lungs thing freaks me a bit too, but TBH I'd rather that than derivatives which could be anything.Declutterbug-in-progress.⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️⭐️0

oh yes absolutely! i think the ingredients are great but i'm squeamish so try not to look at the food too much

Do you know how long this keeps once opened? It sound just the thing for my cat, but he fills up on dry food and just has a small amount of fresh morning and evening as a treat.

Thanks, Daisy.
well it says on the packs it can be kept in the fridge for 2 days
i also forgot to mention the difference in candy's fur
when they were on hi-life her fur had a sort of greasy feel to it but after being on bozita for 2 days it gradually started to get less greasy and is now actually really soft to touch which it never has been!
cookie's fur has stayed silky whatever food she has had."I am an insomniac, so I was really excited when I was able to get a full night's sleep. Zooplus.co.uk
The downside is that you have to order online...and buy larger amounts to offset the delivery cost
Upside is really good quality..and much better for kitties than dry food
You could also try Butchers classic from Sainsburys which is £2.50 for 6 cans. NOt such high standards but still high meat content and therefore a good choice0 -

I've been buying them from Seapets (instore) they also deliver and i'm sure i compared the price to Zooplus when ordering enough from both places to get free delivery and it worked out slightly cheaper to order from Seapets unless Zooplus have them on offer"I am an insomniac, so I was really excited when I was able to get a full night's sleep. yup that's right
2 cartons last 3 days feeding both 3mth old kittens twice a day along with half the reccomended amount of applaws dry fed twice a day"I am an insomniac, so I was really excited when I was able to get a full night's sleep. Thanks, I already order food & litter from Zooplus anyway so will add some to my next order
Not sure how they compare price wise without checking but I've also previously bought Almo Nature and Cosma Thai foods when they've been on offer and both my cats love them
Ok, just checked on Zooplus and they're a fantastic price for those who feed a predominantly wet diet. Unfortunately the cartons are far too large for my needs as my cats usually share a small 85g tin between them 2-3 times a week. They'd only need a 1/4 of a carton at a time and once opened I doubt it would stay fresh for 7-10 days!
