Think my favourite place was Mr Balls Shoe Shop in Blackpool, which I have been informed has now closed down.

Back to the cross stitch I think

No! :rotfl: It was more about trying to put shopping away earlier and there wasn't any room and I started to throw food away (out of date stuff) and then I found these storage boxes and thought ooo I could rearrange my tools and then the next thing I know the kitchen looks like a charity shop and I have sneaked back here for Apple juice and biggest loser catch up!!

  • Ah,sorry Suze..knew it was someone! They had loads of that sort of stuff in Bangkok...(along with all sorts of other stuff!) DS (who's only 14) was most disconcerted to be offered a "Gentlemens testicle massage" when we went in for foot massages!!!

I got a surprise phone call tonight, from my ex bf, who finished with me at the end of August. I hadn't heard anything from him and then the phone rang a couple of times and the person at the other end didn't say anything, and it crossed my mind it might be him.

Anyway eventually he spoke and chatted as though nothing had happened! He said he had moved into a new place and would I like to see it, so I said yes why not! He came to pick me up and I suppose in a way I was thinking perhaps now that time had passed, he had come to his senses.

We got to his and I asked him to explain to me why he had finished with me and why he had done it the way he did (by text) which was so cruel after 4 and a half years.

So he explained, and broke my heart again and then acted like it was all ok. Basically he said he loved me, thought we were great together sexually but couldn't make a committment to a relationship. The he kept trying to kiss me and put his arm round me.

In a way though, I am glad it happened as I kept looking at him and thinking what did i see in you! I still love him but hopefully I can now begin to get over him.

Sorry for the long post - I can't tell many people because not many knew I was seeing him.

  • Sounds stressful Tenmah but at least you can see a little more clearly now and start to move on.
