    No.44 reporting for May

I managed to 'overpay' (i.e. put into my savings account) £1107.30 in May bringing my total for the year to date to £4610.39.

I'm still thinking about buying a horse but so far have not found 'the one'. If I do find the right horse then most of my 'overpayments' will go towards this instead of the mortgage so my YTD total could still reduce dramatically.

    No. 19 checking in.

£500 overpayment for May so far.

Hoping to add some more before the end of the month.

I had to lend my dad some money last month (£560), so I took it out of my money for overpaying.
He has promised to pay it back at the start of June, but I'll not count on getting it back any time soon.

I have been eBaying like mad ( and set myself a challenge to make back the same amount within a month), and I am up to £390 today.
