    Hi everyone,
Hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and New Year!
We've had a lovely Christmas but have really been overdoing it (both eating and financially!) so it's back to frugality now!
I've just arranged my January overpayment which will be £12100
This is a chunk off my total target for the year but is a one off - so after this month it will just be a case of chipping away.
    Good luck to all.

(cake I'm gonna fill the form in too)

    hi all

Bought a coffee machine today - it had no box, so received a goodwill discount of 20% - saved £7 - guess what I just did?

That's right, made a £7 overpayment - I love this! Nearly £100 towards the fees part of our mortgage after about 1 month! That'll teach the robbing gits for charging me £12 per month to pay of just £2 or so pounds of capital each month!!!!! 14/07/10 - here we come, then on to the rest of the mortgage!!!

Also got some Quidco cashback due, not much, but enough to make an overpayment with.

Got a Top Gear money box for Christmas - We are the proud adopted parents of - some say he is the mince in a pie, others think he is Santa without the Ho Ho Ho - all we know is that he's the Overpayment Stig!

    Happy New Year!

(ps - anyone who has a better description for overpayment stig will have the honour of having it printed out and stuck on our fridge)...

That's what I love about this challenge - they're small amounts but they can make a huge difference!
